Building Services Engineer / Assistant Building Services Engineer
Chevalier (Construction) Company Limited has actively participated in many development projects in Hong Kong since the 1980s. Those projects include the redevelopment of public housing estates, the Private Sector Participation Scheme for the Hong Kong Housing Authority, construction of school buildings for primary, secondary and tertiary institutes, and a range of commercial, industrial, residential and shopping arcade projects for the private sector.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for preparing Combined Services Drawings and Combined Builder’s Work Drawing
- Vetting of technical submissions relating to equipment, material and sample
- Liaise with the project team and contractors in project implementation and site supervision
- Monitor site progress and deliver the project on time and effectively
- Review subcontractors’ labour force
Requirements
- Higher Certificate or above in Building Services Engineering or any other related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Membership of relevant professional institutions is preferred
- Knowledge of building services installation and relevant statutory regulations
- Familiar with project co-ordination & site progress monitoring
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
- Good interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
