Leakage Investigation Leader/ Leakage Investigator (25E)

Duties & Responsibilities:

For Leakage Investigation Leader:

• To assistant the Engineer in leak detection works; to supervise the Investigator and to prepare relevant records according to the prevailing guideline or as instructed by the Engineer; and

• Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.

• Contract Duration : Now - 31 August 2029
  

For Leakage Investigator:

• To assist the Engineer in leak detection works, to carry out the LNC, MLD, ELD, Hydrophones and pipe locator surveys for the leakage detection work and to prepare relevant records according to the prevailing guideline or as instructed by the Engineer; and

• Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.

• Contract Duration : Now - 31 August 2029

Requirements:

• For Leakage Investigation Leader, Applicant should be a holder of valid "Certificate in Leak Detection on Water Mains" issued by the Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) or equivalent with 5-8 years site experience in leading field working teams in conducting leakage detection work for water main of all materials and sizes of pipes;  and should have 5-8 years solid experience in Leak Noise Correlators (LNC) survey, Mechanical Leakage Detectors (MLD) Surveys Hydrophones, pipe locator surveys, and other related survey;

• For Leakage Investigator, Applicant should have shall be a holder of a valid "Certificate in Leak Detection on Water Mains" issued by the Hong Kong Institute of Construction (HKIC) or equivalent; and should have 5 years solid experience in Leak Noise Correlators (LNC) survey, Mechanical Leakage Detectors (MLD) Surveys Hydrophones, pipe locator surveys, and other related survey;

• Proficiency in PC applications;

• Immediate availability is preferred.

• Salary Range        :   HK$51,321 - HK$70,697 (For Leakage Investigation Leader)
                                    HK$28,100 - HK$46,800 (For Leakage Investigator)

• Working Hour       :  Mon – Fri     08:15 – 12:30 and 13:30 - 18:03

• Working Location  :   Kowloon Bay (WSD Office)

• Holiday                  :   Statutory Holiday
