Assistant Manager, Community Engagement (1 Year Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Manager in planning and executing fundraising campaigns, corporate partnership initiatives, membership/loyalty programs, and community engagement projects to achieve annual targets.

  • Explore and develop new corporate partnership opportunities, nurture new and existing donors, and boost participation in fundraising campaigns and events.

  • Provide support in donor relationship management, including preparing proposals, presentation materials, acknowledgement letters, reports, and coordinating donor meetings and visits to the House.

  • Assist in servicing corporate partners and individual donors, ensuring timely follow-up, proper documentation, and high-quality engagement to strengthen long-term relationships.

  • Evaluate, engage, and coordinate with business partners such as production houses, agencies, and vendors to ensure quality deliverables and compliance with RMHC Hong Kong’s internal policies.

  • Coordinate fundraising events (online and offline), volunteer engagement activities, and partnership programs, including logistics, budgeting, timeline management, and post-event evaluation.

  • Maintain and manage Donor and Volunteer Management Systems (VMS), ensuring data accuracy, proper record-keeping, reporting, and administrative support for the Development team.

  • Prepare reports, analysis, campaign tracking, and financial summaries, and provide administrative support to the Assistant Director, Senior Manager and team, contributing to overall team success and organisational objectives, and perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related discipline.

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in fundraising, corporate partnership development, donor relations, event management, or NGO sector.

  • Experience in donor servicing, corporate visits, proposal preparation, and stakeholder engagement is preferred.

  • Strong project coordination, communication, presentation, and organizational skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with digital marketing and database management.

  • Proactive, detail-minded, adaptable, and able to work independently while being a strong team player.
