Assistant Distributor Account Manager (Reputable global FMCG Group)
Role Overview
Our client is a leading global Japanese FMCG group known for strong personal care and consumer brands, with significant market share.
We are hiring an Assistant Sales Manager to support distributor management and sales growth across Mainland China and Macau, offering hands‑on exposure to cross‑border FMCG operations.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with assigned clients and distributors to ensure customer satisfaction and sustainable partnerships
Develop and execute sales strategies and action plans to achieve annual sales targets, covering:
Budgeting and pricing
New product launches
Trade promotion planning
Inventory control and stock management
Monitor sales performance and analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
Prepare sales forecasts, track key performance metrics, and provide regular performance reports to management
Provide timely market intelligence and insights to support business development and strategic planning
Monitor account profitability and manage trade spending in line with approved budgets
Requirements
Higher Diploma or above in Business, Marketing, or related disciplines
Minimum 5 years of sales or key account management experience, preferably in FMCG, with exposure to Mainland China and Macau markets
Strong commercial awareness with experience in sales planning, forecasting, and trade promotion management
Energetic, self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently
Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship‑management skills
Willingness to learn and ability to work effectively under pressure
Occasional overseas travel required
Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Chinese word processing
