We are looking for the following experienced professional who is capable of carrying out supervision and co-ordination work for the project of “Batch 1B, 1C Development of Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park”:


(Part-time) Contract Engineering Advisor (Ref. JD_23058PTCEA)
The minimum qualifications required for the post of (Part-time) Contract Engineering Advisor shall be as follows:


Qualifications:

  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) / Member of HKIE with over 15 years of post-qualification experience in Building Services, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

  • Bachelor’s degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering

  • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in facilities and property management for private sector and/or institution, preferably with exposure to sustainability initiatives in operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Parkwide Responsibilities

  • Provide parkwide operational insights to support integrated facility management, long-term sustainability, and efficiency improvements.

  • Coordinate academic collaboration and research initiatives with universities, focusing on big data and AI applications, including advanced analytics for building services and smart infrastructure.

  • Contribute to parkwide system design and integration, such as the development of an Integrated Operations Centre (IOC) and other centralized monitoring/control platforms.

  • Support the deployment of research and development applications, ensuring effective translation of academic findings into practical solutions for design, construction, testing, and handover.

  • Drive the adoption of advanced digital technologies (IoT, AI-driven analytics, predictive maintenance) across building services systems to enhance resilience, efficiency, and performance.

  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and stakeholder training on smart building operations, data-driven decision-making, and emerging technologies.

Administration Responsibilities

  • Liaise and coordinate with the Client, Project Team, and Contractors on matters related to parkwide systems, integration works, and innovation deployment.

  • Review Contractors’ design submissions, site planning, shop drawings, materials, samples, test results, method statements, and other relevant documentation to ensure compliance and technical correctness.

  • Supervise the Project, including guiding Contractors on programming, quality control, and maintaining site safety.

  • Monitor and report on the performance of Contractors and workmanship, ensuring alignment with project objectives.

  • Track progress of works and attend regular site progress meetings, interface meetings, and technical coordination meetings.

  • Provide proactive input to resolve design or installation problems, site difficulties, and integration challenges.


Employment will be on a contract basis and commencing immediately. The remuneration package will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualification and experience.


Required working hours per week:

  • May 2026 to Apr 2027 = 10 Days per month

  • May 2027 to Apr 2028 = 5 Days per month
