Program Worker (Care Assistant)
Responsibilities
Perform multiple tasks to provide operation and service support of the Kwai Tsing District Health Centre (K&TDHC) Core Centres, Satellite Centres and outreach activities
Provide support to nursing staff, including but not limited to assist for client assessment, preparation and aftercare for assessment equipment and environment
Provide general duties, including but not limited to client registration, appointment booking, scheduling, filing, data collection and related clerical work
Provide blood taking service (if certified) and handling for blood taken specimen
Support the operation, service and administrative work of DHC Centres
Provide customer service including answering general enquiries over the counter and telephone
Assist to organize various health promotion activities and self-help management program
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirement
Higher diploma or above with healthcare related education or equivalent
1-2 years of relevant working experience.
Possess with valid Phlebotomy Certificate is preferable
Proficient in MS office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese Word Processing
Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
Willing to learn, self-motivated, good communication and interpersonal skills
Able to work independently and in a team environment.
45 working hours per week, 5 days’ work, shift duties are required, may need to work in the evening, Saturdays, Sunday & Public Holidays subject to operation needs.
