Job Description

We are a global sourcing company and looking for Quality people for our Home team. The Senior Quality Technologist will be reporting to the Technical Manager, and roll up to the Senior Quality Manager in Hong Kong. This position can be either in Hong Kong or Shenzhen.

Key Responsibilities

• Advanced knowledge on the UK / EU testing requirements to ensure the products comply with legal requirements and product safety.

• Provided technical support to vendors / QA / Merchandisers, help them to understand the testing requirements

• Ensure the quality standards and requirements of the company and customers have been met

• Follow up with the factory audit program, product review and approval

• Arrange and manage the product test for product compliance

• Monitoring production, arrange inspections and reports review Resolve customer complaints and drive continuous improvement in quality

• Regular factory on-site visits for sample approval, production control and factory performance

• Minimum 5-8 years solid Quality assurance working experience in buying offices / agency / trading company is an advantage. Candidate with less experience would be considered as Quality Technologist.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Degree or above in related discipline preferred or other relevant graduate degree preferred

• Previous experience in handling product for UK / European market is a must

• Good knowledge of global safety requirements and quality standards

• In-depth knowledge in product development process, manufacturing process, technical audit, and inspection for Candle, Home Décor & Indoor Furniture

• Knowledge in ISO9000 / AQL is a must.

• High degree of work ethics and integrity

• Occasionally travel is needed

• Experience in factory assessments, audits and production monitoring.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills - fluency in English, Mandarin and Chinese is essential
