Our Client is a Global Listed Fintech Success with a focus on Securities Trading Businesses across all the Key Exchanges in the world. With a World Class Technology Team they are able to provide cutting edge Technologies, Market Data, Trading Experience and Liquidity to their professional investors. We are currently assisting them with a Senior IT Executive appointment to be based in Hong Kong to oversee their business expansion.

Responsibilities:

• Business Alighment: Deeply understand brokerage and trading business logic to align technology strategies with commercial objectives, going beyond routine execution to deliver strategic value.

• Strategic Technical Oversight: Oversee Infrastructure, Database, and Cybersecurity teams to ensure all systems operate smoothly, securely, and with high reliability in a high-volume trading environment.

• Proactive Innovation: Drive continuous improvement by exploring enhancement opportunities, developing original ideas, and proposing innovative solutions that support business growth.

• Regulatory & Compliance Sense: Lead IT risk management and compliance efforts, with strong focus on SFC and HKMA regulatory inspections and requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.

• 12+ years of relevant IT experience in the Fintech or Brokerage sector, with at least 5–7 years in leadership roles.

• Strong expertise in infrastructure management, database administration, and cybersecurity frameworks.

• Deep knowledge of SFC and HKMA regulatory environment, with excellent IT risk and compliance sense.

• Demonstrated initiative, strategic thinking, and the ability to identify improvement areas while understanding complex business logic.

• Fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and English.
