曾經有個 manager 同我講:「做 leader,其實就係做風險管控。」呢句說話令我印象深刻。喺大公司,越高層越傾向做 management:控制進度、預算、人力資源,確保每分錢都用得其所。但我認為,真正推動團隊向前嘅力量,其實來自 leadership:帶人、教人、整合人心。 對我嚟講,做 leader 比做 manager 更有趣。好似玩緊 RPG 同模擬城市咁,我寧願帶住一班人去打怪升 LV、闖關,而唔係淨係排 schedule、管資源、睇 report。因為 leadership 唔止係管控,更係激發潛能、創造可能。

我其實都做緊你所講既野,帶同事打破格局,齊上齊落,但經過一段時間,有隊友會跟唔上,有部門會向你反其道而行,最後真係會去返風險管理角度去做去出發,你要平行返所有野,而唔係仲會有團火去衝解決到問題就係贏,由其問題唔會解決得曬,只會內耗緊部門自己同事既心力。
