- Presenting research findings to senior research staff, clients or customers.
- Cataloguing and organising data for future reference and analyses.
- Writing reports and presenting research findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Managing and maintaining the databases, research tools and materials used in the research process.
How to become a Research Assistant
Research Assistants work in various disciplines and should have degrees related to their respective sectors.
- 1.Degree in a related discipline (e.g., Research Assistant for the faculty of Education must have a degree in Education).
- 2.Working experience in a related field, as well as experience in conducting research projects (e.g., quantitative and qualitative data analysis), are an advantage.
- 3.Must have excellent command of English/Chinese (or whatever language is required by the company).
- 4.Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- 5.Able to work independently but also a good team player.
